How do I become a Guest Vendor
Craft Club of Sebastian is a juried craft club. To qualify for membership your craft must be approved by our jury panel and the crafter must participate in one (1) show as a guest. Once this criterion is met: the crafter may apply for membership.
Crafters may participate as a guest until enrollment is opened. Open enrollment for membership begins the second Saturday of May and ends October 15th of each year.
Show fees: $45.00 one day and $55.00 for two day shows
Crafter must be present at all shows. Your application must be approved before you can participate.

How do I become a Member?
Membership Requirements
The Craft Club of Sebastian is a juried craft club. All prospective members must first have their craft(s) reviewed and approved by the Club’s jury panel. Please refer to the Guest Vendor Information section for details about the jury process.
Becoming a Member
To be eligible to apply for membership, a crafter must:
1. Have their craft(s) approved by the jury panel; and
2. Participate in at least **one (1) Craft Club of Sebastian show as a Guest Vendor.
Once both requirements have been completed, the crafter is eligible to apply for membership during the annual enrollment period.
Membership enrollment opens on the second Saturday in May and closes on October 15 each year.
Approved crafters may continue participating in shows as Guest Vendors until membership enrollment opens.
Annual Membership Levels & Fees
Membership fees and requirements are subject to change.
Full Membership
* Individual — $15 per year
* Dual (two people) — $25 per year
* Minimum participation: 5 meetings and 5 shows per season
Associate Membership
* Individual — $30 per year
* Dual (two people) — $45 per year
* Minimum participation: 3 meetings and 5 shows per season
Courtesy Membership
* Individual — $50 per year
* Dual (two people) — $75 per year
* No meeting attendance requirement
* Minimum participation: 5 shows per season
Attendance & Participation
The registered crafter must be present at all shows in which they participate. A substitute may not operate a member’s booth in place of the registered crafter unless specifically approved by the Club.
Attendance is recorded at both meetings and shows to verify that members continue to meet the participation requirements for their membership level.
Show Fees
In addition to annual membership dues, the fee to participate in each show is $25 per show.

Do I need to have a Florida Sales Tax ID
Yes. All Craft Club of Sebastian Members and Guest Vendors must have a valid Florida Sales Tax Certificate on file with the Club before participating in an event.
If you sell taxable goods or services in Florida, the Florida Department of Revenue requires you to register as a sales and use tax dealer before conducting taxable business.
If you do not already have a Florida Sales Tax Certificate, you can register online through the Florida Department of Revenue:

Registration is completed using the Florida Business Tax Application (DR-1). Once registered, please provide the Craft Club with a copy of your current certificate for our records.
Market Hours & Vendor Requirements
The craft market officially starts at 10 AM and end at 3:00 PM. The music will start playing at 10:30 and end at 2:30.
Market Hours & Vendor Requirements:
The Craft Market is open to the public from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Music and entertainment will begin at 10:30 AM and conclude at 2:30 PM.
Club Members: Members must arrive and begin setup before 8:30 AM to retain their assigned space. Beginning at 8:30 AM, any unoccupied spaces may be reassigned to guest vendors.
Guest Vendors: Guest vendors will be assigned available spaces beginning at 8:30 AM.
Full-Show Participation: All vendors are expected to remain set up and open for business until the market closes at 3:00 PM. Early breakdown or departure is not permitted except in the case of an emergency or with prior approval from the Club. For Club members, leaving early without approval may result in termination of membership.
Members need to arrive before 8:30 AM to ensure keeping your assigned spot. Guest Vendors will be assigned open spots starting at 8:30 AM.
Vendors are required to stay for the full show. Leaving early may terminate your club membership.
What do I need to Bring?
Vendors are responsible for bringing everything needed for their booth, including tables, chairs, tents or canopies, displays, and other equipment. The Club provides booth space only.
Electricity is very limited and is generally not available. Vendors should plan to operate without access to electrical service unless arrangements have been approved in advance.
Setup:
Vendors may begin setting up prior to the show as permitted by the Club. Club members must arrive before 8:30 AM to retain their assigned booth space. Beginning at 8:30 AM, unoccupied spaces may be reassigned to Guest Vendors.
Loading & Unloading:
Designated loading and unloading areas are available on both sides of the park on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please unload your vehicle promptly and move it to the designated vendor parking area before setting up your booth. This keeps the loading areas available for other vendors.
All vehicles must be removed from the loading and unloading areas before the show opens. Vehicles remaining in these areas may be towed.
How big is my Spot and what size Tent?
Vendor spaces are generally 10' × 10'. If you use a tent or canopy, it must be clean, presentable, and in good condition.
All tents and canopies MUST be securely anchored with appropriate weights. Ground stakes or the pins supplied with most tents are not sufficient on their own.
Vendors are responsible for properly securing their tents and equipment throughout the event. The Club is not responsible for damage to a vendor’s tent, merchandise, property, or the property of others resulting from an improperly secured tent or canopy.
Can I Be a Food Vendor at the Shows?
Yes! We welcome food trucks and food vendors at our shows and are always looking to add a variety of food and beverage options for our visitors.
There is currently no vendor fee for food trucks or food vendors.
We ask that food vendors be open and available to serve customers from at least 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM on the day of the show.
Food vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required licenses, permits, inspections, and insurance, and for complying with all applicable state, county, and local health and safety regulations.
The Craft Club of Sebastian does not obtain permits or licenses on behalf of individual food vendors.
Can I Sell Homemade Food at a Craft Club if Sebastian Show?
Yes. Florida's Cottage Food Law allows qualifying individuals and businesses to produce certain food products in a home kitchen and sell them directly to consumers without obtaining a food establishment permit from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).
To qualify as a Florida Cottage Food Operation, your products and business must comply with Florida Statute §500.80.
What foods qualify as Cottage Foods?
Cottage foods are generally foods that do not require refrigeration or temperature control for food safety.
Examples may include:
* Breads, rolls and biscuits
* Cakes, pastries and cookies
* Candies and confections
* Certain fruit pies
* Jams, jellies and preserves that meet applicable requirements
* Dry herbs and seasonings
* Granola, trail mixes and cereals
* Popcorn
* Other shelf-stable foods that do not require time or temperature control for safety
Foods requiring refrigeration or temperature control for safety do not qualify as cottage foods.
Do I need a Florida food permit?
Qualifying Cottage Food Operations are exempt from Florida's food-establishment permitting requirement. However, you are responsible for ensuring that your products and operation meet all requirements of Florida's Cottage Food Law.
Is there a sales limit?
Yes. A Cottage Food Operation may have up to $250,000 in annual gross sales of cottage food products. Sales from all locations are included when calculating this limit.
Do my products need to be packaged and labeled?
Yes. Cottage food products must be prepackaged and have a label containing:
* Name and address of the Cottage Food Operation
* Name of the product
* Ingredients listed in descending order by weight
* Net weight or net volume
* Required allergen information
* Appropriate nutrition information if a nutritional claim is made
* The following statement in at least 10-point type:
“Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations.”
Can I sell Cottage Foods at a Craft Club of Sebastian show?
Yes, provided your products qualify under Florida's Cottage Food Law and meet the Club's vendor requirements.
Vendors are responsible for determining whether their products qualify as Cottage Foods and for complying with all applicable Florida laws, labeling requirements, tax requirements and other regulations.
Can I sell refrigerated or potentially hazardous foods under the Cottage Food Law?
No. Foods requiring time or temperature control for safety do not qualify as Cottage Foods. Vendors selling these types of foods may need appropriate state licensing and permits.
Can Cottage Food businesses sell online or ship their products?
Yes. Florida law allows Cottage Food Operations to accept orders and payment online or by mail order. Products may be delivered directly to the consumer, delivered to a specific event venue, or shipped using the U.S. Postal Service or a commercial delivery service.
Cottage Food products cannot be sold wholesale.
